Abstract : Nanotechnology refers to research and development of an applied science at the atomic or molecular level.
Nanotechnology has various practical applications in the field of dentistry. The new treatment opportunities in dentistry by nanotechnology include complete orthodontic realignment in a single visit, Nanocomposite resins for restorations, dental caries restorations and its prevention, surface disinfectants, impression making, nanoneedles, etc.1,2,3,4.
